I have not updated the blog in FOREVER! Here are a few things we have been up too lately. First, I gave Chris this awesome haircut on Christmas Eve. We used my grandpa's old clippers, and they were a little bit rusty, and sometimes Chris would flinch, because I guess the clippers were pulling his hair out, rather than cutting it. I think my mom was surprised that I could cut hair. I liked the new look, but Chris refused to go to church looking like that, so I buzzed it all off :(
The second thing that has happened recently was our poor little Sammy had ACL surgery. She has been limping for a few months, and come to find out she had torn her doggy ACL. So, Chris took her to the vet, and by the way, he was an awesome vet, to have her surgery. She had to stay overnight, and I was worried sick about her. Chris kept me updated through texts, and let me know that she was alive and well. She looked so sad and/or mad when she got home. Chris has been so sweet, and has let her sleep in the house since her surgery.
Finally, Chris and I went on a winter hike to Stewart Falls this past weekend. We were hoping the snow would be deep enough to show shoe, but no such luck. It was a beautiful day, and the sun was actually shining. We hiked to the waterfall, and it was awesome. I have never seen it in the summer, but it was pretty amazing in the winter. We stopped to watch some ice climbers, and of course my risky husband said he would live to do that. I am not so sure that it is safe, but when is Chris doing something safe :)

ha ha. i love your picture with sammy! but why weren't you spooning with her?!?! ha! oh, the rat tail mullet! I don't blame him for refusing to go to church like that.
lol fun times cutting hair. The first time i cut Blake's hair, we didn't talk until the next day. Yea, it was that bad. I've improved since then haha only because I stick to the clippers and stay AWAY from the scissors. Stewart falls looks super nice, we'll have to look that one up before we move.
we tried to have a little snow shoe day too, but it also happened to be sunny and just a nice snow hike. Tell Chris that my bro Jesse is all for the ice climbing, he mentioned something about that too while we were on our hike, but we all pretended not to hear. haha. and his hair cut was awesome... you really have a gift! miss you so much!!! Love you!!!
I didn't know you could cut hair. And I'm sorry Sammy had surgery. Her cast looks like our kittens Brooksy's cast when she broke her leg the second day we got her. Stewart Falls looks gorgeous!

How fun!! I loved the hairnet pics. Poor Sammy poo..I didn't really know dogs could tear ACL's. She looked so sad with her little bandages on. Is she part pitbull?? Her face kinda looks like it.
