COSTA RICA - DAY #3

Getting ready to go in the park

DAY #3:
Today we went to Manuel Antonio National Park. It was really cool, we saw a whole bunch of sloths, monkeys, and rare birds! We learned that sloths only come down once a week to do their business. They move so so slow, and are the laziest animals.

Sloth in the trees

Rare bird hawk thing

Sloth in the telescope

Look closely on the ground, it is a rare bird that nests on the ground

We also learned that you shouldn't leave your bags unattended at the beach because these little monkeys, who appear to be more human like than we thought, will jump from the trees and try and open your bags and take your food . . . true story, we watched the monkeys attempt some funny monkey business!

We also ate this sick fruit . . . looks like fish eggs :)

We also learned that the boys on the trip think they can surf, and continue to try each day to improve their skills . . . their surfing last for about 10 minutes in the water, and almost paddling out past the waves, and then they sure do talk a lot when they get out ha ha!

We also learned that animals are frequent visitors in restaurants . . . . weird!

Cats in the restaurant . . .

Thats for you Pops :)
